🔴 THE JACKED LIST — OUT & HURTING

Conor McGregor — UFC — Suspected Torn ACL, Right Knee

The most Jacked Up injury of the weekend. McGregor threw a jumping kick to open his fight against Max Holloway at UFC 329, landed awkwardly, and blew out his knee at 1:09 of round 1. Doctors suspect a torn ACL — the opposite leg from the one he broke against Dustin Poirier in 2021. We’re praying for a full recovery for the former double champ and know his newfound faith in Jesus Christ will bring him through this.

🔴 THE JACKED LIST — OUT & HURTING

Nick Lodolo — Cincinnati Reds — Left Index Finger Blister

Lodolo is likely headed to the IL as his blister issue has returned on his left index finger. He’s going to miss the All-Star Game and possibly more time in the second half. Brutal timing for a Reds rotation that needs him.

Chase Burns — Cincinnati Reds — Right Groin

Burns has a tight right groin and will miss the 2026 All-Star Game. The Reds are losing two starters to injury heading into the break.

Shohei Ohtani — Los Angeles Dodgers — Left Knee

Ohtani had his knee drained on Sunday and will sit out the All-Star Game entirely. The Dodgers say his second-half pitching schedule is unaffected but any time Ohtani’s knee needs draining it’s a Jacked Up situation. He did hit his 21st homer of the season Sunday so the bat is fine.

Blake Snell — Los Angeles Dodgers — Left Elbow

Snell faced hitters for the first time during the All-Star break. Getting closer. Return targeted for early August.

Tyler Glasnow — Los Angeles Dodgers — Lower Back

Glasnow threw a bullpen session during the All-Star break. Return targeted for August.

Justin Verlander — Detroit Tigers — Left Hip Inflammation

Verlander threw a bullpen session on July 9 and will play catch during the All-Star break in Philadelphia. The 42-year-old is trying to make it back for the second half.

Gleyber Torres — Detroit Tigers — Left Oblique

Taking batting practice in a cage. Could begin a rehab assignment after the All-Star break.

Byron Buxton — Minnesota Twins — Right Hip

Still on the IL. Still no timetable. Still Buxton.

Corey Seager — Texas Rangers — Back

Still on the IL. No clear return date. Rangers without their best player heading into the second half.

Randy Vasquez — San Diego Padres — Ankle

Still recovering. No return date. We’re still praying for him.

Lucas Giolito — San Diego Padres — Right Elbow

Still on the IL. The Padres bullpen remains Jacked Up heading into the second half.

🟢 THE UNJACKED LIST — RETURNING & REHABBING

Edwin Diaz — Los Angeles Dodgers — Right Elbow

Diaz tossed a scoreless inning in his first rehab game. Getting very close to a return. Dodgers bullpen is about to get a big boost.

Francisco Lindor — New York Mets — Left Calf

Lindor has begun his rehab assignment with Double-A Binghamton. He’s been out since late April and the Mets desperately need him back. Expected to return after the All-Star break.

Jordan Montgomery — Texas Rangers — Left UCL

Has made four sharp rehab starts. Expected back after the All-Star break. Rangers need him badly in the second half.

Ronald Acuña Jr. — Atlanta Braves — Hamstring

Expected to begin a rehab assignment during the All-Star break. The Braves are hoping to have him back for the second half push.

Brito — San Diego Padres — Called Up

The Padres called up Brito from the minors to help their beleaguered bullpen staff. First time in the big leagues since 2024. The Padres are taking any help they can get right now.

⚠️ ALL-STAR BREAK NOTE

The MLB All-Star Game is this week in Philadelphia. Several players are using the break to rehab and get healthy — including Verlander, Glasnow, Snell, and Torres. The second half starts after the break and the Padres at 3.5 games out of the wild card need as many arms back as possible.
