The Jacked List — July 11, 2026

Your daily injury report. Who’s hurt, who’s coming back, and what it means for your team.

⚽ WORLD CUP

🔴 THE JACKED LIST — OUT & HURTING

Norway and England — One of Them Going Home TODAY
Both teams are healthy heading into today’s quarterfinal at 2pm PDT. No major injury news from either camp. The only thing getting Jacked Up today is one nation’s World Cup dream. We don’t want to talk about it.

Raphinha — Brazil — Hamstring
Still out. Brazil is already eliminated but Raphinha’s hamstring kept him from being at full strength when it mattered most.

🟢 THE UNJACKED LIST

Both squads healthy — Norway and England are as close to full strength as you can get at this stage of a World Cup. Which makes today’s match even better. No excuses. Best team wins.

🔴 THE JACKED LIST — OUT & HURTING

Shohei Ohtani — Los Angeles Dodgers — Left Knee Inflammation
This is the big one. Ohtani was scratched from his scheduled July 10 pitching start due to swelling in his left knee. He will have his knee drained on July 12 and will sit out the All-Star Game entirely. The Dodgers say his second-half pitching should not be affected — but any time Ohtani’s knee is getting drained, that’s Jacked Up. He’ll continue to DH through the weekend series vs. Arizona.

Nick Kurtz — Athletics — Right Thumb Capsule Strain
Kurtz is headed to the 10-day IL with a right thumb capsule strain he suffered catching a throw on Wednesday. This is going to cost him his All-Star appearance. Joey Meneses steps in to take his playing time. Brutal timing.

Blake Snell — Los Angeles Dodgers — Left Elbow
Still on the 60-day IL. Could begin facing hitters before the All-Star break. Return targeted for early August.

Edwin Diaz — Los Angeles Dodgers — Right Elbow
Threw live BP for the second time on July 8. Getting closer to a rehab assignment. Targeted for late July return.

Tyler Glasnow — Los Angeles Dodgers — Lower Back
On the 60-day IL. Has started playing catch. Return targeted for August.

Blake Treinen — Los Angeles Dodgers — Right Elbow
On the 15-day IL. Not expected back until after the All-Star break.

Kiké Hernandez — Los Angeles Dodgers — Left Oblique
Resumed taking live at-bats. One of his final steps before a rehab assignment. Return targeted for late July.

Julio Rodriguez — Seattle Mariners — Concussion
Still in concussion protocol on the 7-day IL. No clear return date yet.

Randy Arozarena — Seattle Mariners — Left Hamstring
Still on the IL. Seattle without their outfielder continues to struggle offensively.

Dillon Dingler — Detroit Tigers — Thumb
Missed his second consecutive game after his thumb was hit by a foul ball. Jake Rogers filling in behind the plate.

Ronald Acuña Jr. — Atlanta Braves — Hamstring
Still rehabbing but likely to begin a rehab assignment during the All-Star break. Getting close. Braves fans have been waiting all season.

Ranger Suarez — Philadelphia Phillies — Groin
Still on the 15-day IL. Not cleared to throw yet. Will miss the All-Star Game.

Randy Vasquez — San Diego Padres — Ankle
Still recovering. No return date. Still praying for him.

Lucas Giolito — San Diego Padres — Right Elbow
Still on the IL. The Padres bullpen remains completely Jacked Up with their top right-handers unavailable.

Corey Seager — Texas Rangers — Back
Still on the IL. No clear return date. Rangers continue without their best player.

Byron Buxton — Minnesota Twins — Right Hip
Still on the 10-day IL retroactive to July 6. No timetable.

🟢 THE UNJACKED LIST — RETURNING & REHABBING

Jeremy Pena — Houston Astros — Left Calf
Pena returned to the Astros lineup last night after missing just over the minimum 10 days on the IL. Welcome back.

Munetaka Murakami — Chicago White Sox — Left Hamstring
Expected back in the White Sox lineup TODAY after missing since May 30 with a Grade 2 hamstring strain. He hit 20 home runs in his first 57 MLB games before going down. Big return for Chicago.

Ronald Acuña Jr. — Atlanta Braves — Hamstring
Expected to begin a rehab assignment during the All-Star break. Getting close.

Jordan Montgomery — Texas Rangers — Left UCL
Has made four sharp rehab starts. Expected back after the All-Star break. Rangers need him badly.

⚠️ PADRES BULLPEN WATCH

The San Diego Padres bullpen is completely Jacked Up. Randy Vasquez out with an ankle injury. Lucas Giolito out with elbow inflammation. Multiple top right-handers unavailable. Every close game is a white-knuckle experience right now. Game 2 vs Toronto TONIGHT at 5:40pm PDT at Petco Park. Prayers up.
